About Our Events
Here 4 Fun Day!
A free event for Children with Disabilities and their families. This event takes place at various times during the year and with a variety of themes.
Refreshments are provided for all guests. Each child receives a special gift from celebrated character. These events have ice cream buffets, clowns, face painters, balloon makers, interactive music, carnival games, arts & craft tables, celebrity guests and special activities.
Meet the Team
VinCENT CORBO, BS.Ed.
Vinnie Corbo has a degree in Special Education from Millersville University and decades of experience teaching and entertaining Children with Special Needs. He has spent the past 17 years throwing an annual Christmas Event for Children with Disabilities.
Jackie Castro is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist with a private practice in Mission Hills, CA with a specialty in treating trauma. She believes in helping trauma survivors stay present in the moment with the usage of informed activities such as gentle yoga, music, singing and art.
Catherine Gigante-Brown is a journalist who has written extensively about learning differences (including ADHD and dyslexia) and living a full, vibrant life despite health challenges. As the parent of a child with language-based learning disabilities, she has long been an advocate for disability rights and equality, bringing to the table compassion, understanding and firsthand knowledge.
Vinnie began working with Children with Disabilities at the age of 12 at a summer camp on the grounds of the AI DuPont Institute. He spent 6 years there prior to pursuing his degree in Special Education and becoming a teacher. Vinnie has spent the past 19 years running unique events for Children with Disabilities.
Jackie Castro
Jackie has also been involved with the Children’s Craniofacial Association (CCA). She has written a number of articles for their newsletter that are helpful to parents whose child was born with a facial difference. You’ll meet Jackie at every event. She’s very easy to find and always looks forward to welcoming you and your entire family.
Cathy Brown
As a teenager, Cathy dedicated her Saturday mornings to a local activities program for Children with Special Needs. Her passion to bring attention to crucial issues affecting the disability community culminates in her involvement with Multivium. She is a frequent contributor to global advocacy publications like The Mighty and inMotion Magazine.
